Growth, be it personal or professional, can take us in unexpected directions. Even life’s darkest moments can open the door to a bright tomorrow. Yellowdoor is the pursuit of something better – another chance at creating something true. Following a cancer diagnosis in 2013, co-founder Violet set out on a path toward rejuvenation. Over the following years, changes in her personal and professional life gave way to a last minute solo trip to South America. Upon arriving, she found herself immersed in effortless connection and community with people she hardly knew, a way of life and living that she wanted to bring home to Canada.

 

Yellowdoor opened on Mother’s Day in 2018. With the help of her sister Anna, they had envisioned and created a space for people from all walks of life to come together, share stories, and embrace mutual experiences. As partners, the sisters bring very different strengths and skill sets to the table. From Violet’s endless creativity to Anna’s enigmatic and endearing personality (raising four children certainly goes a long way), Yellowdoor is a space where luxury and community find common ground.

Do you serve food?*

No, we don’t serve food. But you can bring your own caterer/food if you are having a private event.

We have regular polish, shellac and gel manicures. Please check our services for the different types

We use hard wax and soft wax.

How long should I wait in between waxes?

How does it last? 

Generally, it lasts 4-6 weeks.

How often do you need to retouch? 
Can I get eyebrow tinting if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Can I get lash lift if I have really short lashes?

Unfortunately no, in order to receive a lash lift there has to be a decent length, since lash lifting uses your natural lashes to curl.

How do we book a group booking?

Groups can be booked through our online portal on our website under “party and events” There will be a group booking form where you’ll have to fill out and our front desk staff will get back to you asap.
